I recently completed Coursera's "Prompt Engineering for ChatGPT". Despite having no background in programming, I aced all seven assignments on my first try. After subscribing to ChatGPT Plus for half a year, here are some thoughts I’d like to share.
Think of ChatGPT as a next-level fast-food joint where you get what you ask for almost instantly. If you just say, "I'm hungry," you could end up with anything from burgers to instant ramen. But if you order "Beef Bourguignon," a dish that usually takes hours is ready in 30 seconds. The more details you provide—like your taste preferences or dietary restrictions—the better your experience will be.
Similarly, with ChatGPT, vague queries result in vague answers, while precise prompts give you actionable insights. For an assignment, I tasked ChatGPT with drafting a marketing plan aimed at boosting Goodreads.com’s user engagement. Though not ready for immediate action, the proposals were surprisingly good. What used to take me days or even weeks can now be roughed out in less than an hour.
Beyond the project, I've used ChatGPT to develop a personalized learning plan and even had it serve as a career coach for updating my LinkedIn profile.
My journey with ChatGPT reminds me of learning how to Google effectively—figuring out the right keywords and wading through a sea of information to find what's actually useful. As AI keeps improving, I'm excited about the productivity gains ahead, as well as how HelperAI will turn AI into a stable and 24/7 workforce for businesses.

Except for my work experience on LinkedIn, the rest is based on hypothetical discussions. Just be mindful of your personal and confidential info. Don't get carried away and forget. If you're interested, I'm always up for exchanging insights!
